I have used the services of Richard Plowman and his staff for just over a year and I can give them all nothing but praise. They are the most friendly and helpful people to deal with,and whenever I visit, Whether it be a simple filling, or having root canal treatment, I end up falling asleep in the chair.

Some 18 years ago, I was lucky enough to find the dental surgery of Mr Richard Plowman in Nyewood Lane, Aldwick. I cannot praise the Nyewood Dental Practice enough. The dentistry I have received from Mr Plowman has been nothing short of excellent. More than that my treatment from him has always been carried out with kindness, consideration and good humour. His supporting staff, are equally good. We have experience of numerous dental practices both in Central London and the Home Counties depending on where we were living, but none can compare with Nyewood. The Nyewood team of Mrs Watts (Hygienist), the respective dental nurses and the admin staff are, and always have been, extremely kind and most accommodating. Inevitably over the course of time changes occur both in relation to Dental Surgeons and Nurses, but it is apparent to us that one does not get to be a member of ‘the team’ unless you are ‘premier league.’ In addition to his undoubted professional skills, Mr Plowman is a communicator. Having diagnosed the cause of the problem and decided upon the best course of action to take, he will explain clearly what has to be done and why, which we find most reassuring. Moreover, in addition to being very kind and respectful to us elderly, he is very good with children. We have yet to see a child in the waiting room, due for an appointment, who is in anyway distressed/frightened. When called they happily march in. Suffice it to say we enjoy going to the dentist.
